The group that flies an F-16 together…
A new type of entertainment facility opening today in Los Angeles lets guests "fly" an F-16 fighter jet.
Fly the Dream offers hi-fidelity cockpit simulators, each with more than 100 functions found in an actual US Air Force jetfighter, in a 180-degree field of view.
Every screen and button is designed to perfectly replicate the genuine article, from the heads-up display and the ejector seat to the block 52 controller engineered with help from the US Air Force.
Fly the Dream can accommodate groups of up to 50, including catering and a special event coordinator.
Its squadron of seven jetfighters can work cooperatively to achieve customized mission objectives.
Each session begins with a short technical briefing where all cockpit controls are explained in layman’s terms.
Hands-on, in-flight assistance is also available throughout the simulated mission.
Parent company Go Exist, Inc., sees the Los Angeles facility as the flagship for its business model, which it expects to franchise worldwide.
