Australasia’s most luxurious cruise liner, the ‘Love Boat’ Pacific Princess, returns to New Zealand this week (November 11) when she cruises into Milford Sound on a circumnavigation cruise of Aotearoa from Sydney.

Pacific Princess will visit a series of ports around the country on a 13-night cruise, bringing passengers to a selection of New Zealand’s most scenic and breathtaking locations.

In addition to Milford Sound, Pacific Princess will visit Dunedin, Christchurch, Picton, Auckland and the Bay of Islands, before returning to her home port of Sydney.

“This circumnavigation voyage offers passengers a unique way of exploring New Zealand,” says Shannon Currie, NZ Manager of Princess Cruises.

“It’s a whirlwind visit with passengers taking in six ports in just seven days in a sophisticated and luxurious floating resort.”

Pacific Princess has won a loyal following among cruise fans and consistently rates exceptionally high in customer satisfaction surveys.

Named after Princess Cruises’ famous but now retired TV Love Boat and tailored for couples, the romantic Pacific Princess boasts four intimate restaurants, eight sumptuous bars and lounges, an indulgent spa sanctuary, a grand Titanic-like staircase, a rich country club ambience, ship-top pool and jacuzzis and private balconies adorning more than two thirds of cabins.

Renowned for her superb cuisine, stylish décor and ample balcony cabins, the 670-passenger Pacific Princess is offering a series of cruises to idyllic destinations in the South Pacific between November 2005 and April 2006.

Destinations include ports in New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji, as well as voyages to tropical North Queensland and Tasmania.

One cruise sees Pacific Princess travel to Emerald Bay in New Caledonia, Hienghene, Ouvea and Noumea. Fares for this 9-night voyage, departing Sydney on December 1, 2005, are available from $1,862 per person*.
