Hidden shipwreck
In 1909, the Sybil Marston shipwrecked when a storm caused it to hit the rocks near Surf Beach. During certain winter periods, the exposed remains of the shipwreck can be seen. Positioned approximately a mile down from the beach access point, the wreckage becomes visible from the water’s surface throughout the winter season.
