Hard Rock International has announced its entry in the Chinese city of Dalian with a 200-room seafront hotel scheduled for a 2018 opening.
It will become Hard Rock’s third Chinese hotel following hotels currently under development in Shenzhen and Haikou.
The hotel which is being developed with Luneng Real Estate Group, will feature several F&B outlets, a nightclub, a kids’ club, spa and ‘Body Rock’ fitness centre.
"With the Chinese travel industry quickly changing as leisure demand grows, we feel the music-centric programming at Hard Rock Hotels will resonate well with Chinese travellers who visit Dalian each year," said Leong Wy Joon, Hard Rock International’s senior vice president of hotel development for Asia and India.
Ahead of the opening, a Hard Rock Hotels Preview Centre will promote the ‘Hard Rock experience’ in the local market showcasing its signature music programming and Rock Spa presentations.
