Thomas Cook adds Ryanair flights
Thomas Cook is now offering Ryanair flights as part of its holidays programme following the integration with airline technology aggregator, Paxport.
Ryanair flights are now available to book as part of a Thomas Cook package holiday on the company’s UK website and will shortly be available on its European websites.
For Thomas Cook customers who wish to book Ryanair flights and ancillaries, the partnership gives customers access to all flight-related communications directly from Ryanair, including important flight updates.
Additionally, customers have direct access to their myRyanair account to manage their booking.
It comes as Paxport achieved ‘approved OTA aggregator’ status from Ryanair, allowing it to integrate its existing partners.
Thomas Cook is Paxport’s first partner to adopt the integration as part of growth plans following the acquisition by eSky Group this month.
Trevor Bates, aviation manager at Thomas Cook, said: “We’ve been working with Paxport since they announced their partnership to integrate Ryanair flights as quickly as possible.“
“With access now to thousands of low-cost flights, we know our customers will be happy to have the broadest choice of airlines available.”
Simon Taylor, head of commercial at Paxport, said: “Paxport’s integration with Ryanair, and working with the team at Thomas Cook, has been a hugely successful demonstration of partnership and collaboration.”
Thomas Cook’s customers now have access to all of Ryanair’s hundreds of UK routes for winter 2024 and into next year including city breaks to Dublin, beach holidays and ski destinations
