Thomas Cook chief finance officer David Taylor has left the company.
He joined from TUI just 18 months ago as transformation director and was then promoted to CFO as part of Peter Fankhauser’s new management team.
But a Thomas Cook spokeswoman confirmed today that Taylor has left the group as part of the turnaround of the business.
The role is being filled on an interim basis by Nigel Arthur, who joined two weeks ago from Heineken.
Arthur will also continue his responsibilities as finance director for shared services and operations, the role for which he was originally hired.
