Thomas Cook has begun the search for a replacement for its managing director of retail sales, Joanna Wild, who has resigned from the company.
Wild had been in the role for two years and before that worked for the operator’s airline as customer services director and ground services director.
Simon Robinson, CEO of the merged Thomas Cook and Cooperative Travel business, said: "We have assembled a very strong leadership team within Thomas Cook Cooperative Travel, and I look forward to confirming Joanna’s successor very shortly.
"I’d like to thank Joanna for her contribution in helping to establish our retail joint venture, and her previous years in our airline before that, and wish her every success for the future."
Thomas Cook’s new group chief executive Harriet Green is due to join at the end of this month.
