Thomson launches Tinder-style city breaks tool

Thursday, 13 October 20163 min read

Thomson is launching a web-based tool designed to help customers plan their city breaks.

The technology works in a similar way to dating app Tinder, with customers swiping left and right to select things to see and do and build up an itinerary.

Recent Thomson research found seven in 10 people feel overwhelmed by the amount of activities available during city breaks.

The launch comes as Thomson prepares for the late October launch of its city breaks programme, which features long-haul destinations for the first time.

New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore have all been added.

A dedicated representative will meet customers at the airport, to provide information and arrange transfers, and there is a 24/7 Holidayline.
