Hillgate Travel has reappointed rail retailer thetrainline.com for the booking and fulfilment of all national rail tickets for a further three years.
The £1million contract will see Hillgate Travel continue to use ‘Trainline Connect’ thetrainline.com’s API (Application Program Interface) to integrate rail content into its propriety online self booking tool, FreeWay.
Ian Cairns, head of distribution at thetrainline.com, said: “This renewal continues to show our strength of product in the travel management market and highlights the successful relationship we’ve had with Hillgate over the last five years.”
