Tolmie leaves AA Appointments
AA Appointments managing director John Tolmie has left the company.
Theresa Dempsey, sole shareholder of AA Appointments UK and majority shareholder of other companies within the AA Group, will be “taking back the reins†following his departure.
The group said it has been “mutually decided” that Tolmie would leave with immediate effect.
“Both parties were amicable in terms of Johns departure and AA wish him every success with his future career aspirations,” said a spokeswoman.
She said Tolmie has now taken some time out to consider all of his options before embarking on the next stage of his career.
He had been with AA Appointments for six years.
Speaking of her new venture, Dempsey said: “I am truly delighted to be once again spearheading the UK operation after what had been a remarkable growth and success story for AA Appointments.”
Dempsey expressed her thanks to the “many loyal clients” who have already made contact with her to welcome her back.
She also stressed that AA Appointments, with offices in London, Manchester, Jersey, Ireland and Australia, is in no way affiliated to any other company that has ceased trading by the same name.
