Tourism resumes in Wales as holiday parks reopen
Self-contained holiday accommodation such as holiday and caravan parks in Wales have started welcoming back guests. Wales came out of its stay-local order several weeks before England relaxes rules.
Holiday parks starting accepting their first guests at the weekend but only for Welsh residents, and there were traffic jams on roads leading to beauty spots and beaches in West Wales. Although it is a promising start, many businesses say they will continue to struggle until England eases its own lockdown measures.
Dyfed-Powys Police said they will not be patrolling the border but ‘officers will remain active along all routes.’
