Tourists evacuated near Saint Tropez as wildfire rages
Thousands of people, including tourists at campsites, were evacuated in southern France as a large wildfire raged near Saint Tropez. According to fire service spokeswoman, Delphine Vienco, the evacuations are a precautionary measure so far, with no casualties.
It comes as wildfirse scorch the Spain countryside amid temperatures of 47 degrees celsius. Recent fires have also led to evacuations in Greece, Turkey and Portugal.
