Two French holidaymakers have been found dead near a hiking trail in Argentina.
According to reports, two women in their 30s were shot and one is believed to have been sexually assaulted.
Their bodies were found in a private tourist hiking trail in Quebrada de Villa San Lorenzo in northern Argentina.
In a statement yesterday, the French foreign ministry said: “We have every confidence in the Argentinian authorities, with whom we are in constant contact to get to the bottom of the killings so that those responsible are identified and brought to justice.â€
