TQ3 (TUI BUSINESS TRAVEL DEUTSCHLAND GmbH) ACQUIRES 50% GLOBAL JV OWNERSHIP FROM MARITZ

17 March 2004, Bremen, Germany – TUI Business Travel Deutschland GmbH (TUI) today announced that it has acquired from TQ3 Maritz Americas Inc. the outstanding 50% ownership interest in TQ3 Travel Solutions GmbH, its global joint venture company. With the acquisition TUI terminates the relationship with Maritz (following a transitional period until 1 May 2004). A new US-based partner will replace Maritz.
