Traffic light legal challenge fails

The legal bid for transparency over the government’s traffic light system has failed. Judges ruled that officials must continue to review the rules but would not force the government to reveal the reasoning behind the three colour categories or make public the full data.
The legal challenge was brought by Manchester Airport Group and backed by a number of airlines. MAG argued travellers and travel businesses needed to fuly understand how the government makes its decisions on the traffic light system.
