Trailfinders lifts Dolphin Dynamics’ 5-a-side Trophy
Trailfinders lifts the award for winning the Dolphin Dynamics’ annual 5-a-side tournament in support of Just a Drop.
In a keenly-contested final, Trailfinders edged-out 2016 winners Caribtours, in the event which is now attracting support from across the travel industry.
Winning every single game they played during the tournament, Trailfinders won this year’s tournament followed by followed by Travelport 1 in second place and Travelport 2 in third. Rob from Travelport managed to score a whopping 7 goals and won the Golden Boot for his achievement.
Most importantly, thanks to all the competing teams and headline event sponsor TTG Media, Dolphin Dynamics was able to make a donation to Just a Drop of £1261.
The funds raised really will make a massive difference to communities’ lives who currently don’t have access to clean and safe water or hygiene facilities.
Simon Reindorp, captain of the Trailfinders team stated: "It was great to be involved in the Dolphin Just a Drop 5-a-side for the second year running. The spirit all the games were played in was fantastic and a great time was had by all. Trailfinders is proud to have won the tournament for the first time and help raise money for a worthy cause. We look forward to returning next year hoping to be the first team to retain the trophy!"
Chuck Richardson, MD of Dolphin Dynamics said: "We are delighted to once again have hosted another successful five a side tournament support for the travel industry in aid of Just a Drop. Through the generosity of our sponsors and enthusiasm of the players we have raised £1261 for this worthy cause and already have several teams pledging to return next year. With Trailfinders setting out to defend their title next year, a feat that has never yet been accomplished!"
