Trainline adds Benelux region
Train ticket retailer Trainline has expanded its offering in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg by connecting to the BeNe Rail booking system.
The independent company said it was a logical step to add the Benelux region, which offers cross-border connections between countries already serviced by Trainline through sales of Thalys, Deutsche Bahn and Eurostar tickets.
"Benelux occupies a central and strategic position in the heart of Europe and at the hub of European rail, with a large number of train journeys passing through these three countries," said Daniel Beutler, general manager of Trainline International.
"The BeNe Rail partnership is excellent news for European travellers and responds to a very real demand from our customers."
