Transavia launching Rotterdam flights from London Stansted
A new route and airline will be added to London Stansted’s departure boards next summer when Transavia starts Rotterdam flights.
The Dutch carrier, a member of the Air France KLM Group, will initially operate four flights a week starting April 3, 2025.
This will increase to five flights during peak summer.
Flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays (during peak summer), Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays on Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The airline has one-way fares from London starting at £37.
These Rotterdam flights will also allow passengers to transfer onto the airline’s route network that connects Rotterdam with 90 destinations across Europe and beyond, including Rome, Cyprus and Dubai.
David Folkerd, London Stansted’s Head of Aviation and Business Development, said: “We are delighted to announce the addition of another new destination and airline to London Stansted’s network.”
Charles Verstegen, Lead Commerce Transavia, added: “For Transavia, flying from Rotterdam to London is a reunion with the past. The British capital remains a popular destination for many, making it a welcome addition.”
