Travel 2 has appointed two new key account managers in a bid to strengthen its sales team.
Karen Milward will be responsible for accounts in the south east while Darren Cartland will work with selected key partners.
Karen comes from Wendy Wu Tours where she was business development manager. Her role will mean overseeing existing accounts in her region and developing new accounts while boosting awareness of Travel2 and its new website to agents.
In the past, Karen has worked for Bath Travel, Travel Counsellors, Advantage and Elite.
Darren has worked in the industry for 18 years and joins Travel 2 from Maritim Hotels where he was national account manager conference and incentives. Previosuly he has worked for Amadeus, Air Mauritius and Delta Reservations.
