Travel Counsellors just posted another bumper period for cruise sales.
Cruise booking revenues surged by nearly one half in August.
It reached £8.2 million in August, up 49% on last year.
It now amounts to 17% of total UK leisure sales.
In a commissioned survey, 2,000 UK consumers cited the rising popularity of cruises, with 21% interested in cruising, up from 14% in 2023.
“What’s exciting is that we’re now seeing strong growth across all age groups, especially among younger travellers,” said Travel Counsellors Head of Cruise Janet Whittingham
The Travel Tracker report shows younger travellers aged 25-34 represent the strongest cruise segment growth.
