Travel Editions joins Artisan Travel Group after acquisition
The Artisan Travel Group recently announced the successful acquisition of escorted tour specialist Travel Editions.
The acquisition of the brand was completed following a highly competitive process led by The Firebird Partnership.
The group comprises The Aurora Zone and Artisan Travel.
Travel Editions was founded in 1994, is noted for its diverse portfolio of walking, historical, gastronomic, and botanical tours.
It also offers themed UK breaks, European rail holidays, and Christmas trips.
Under the new arrangement, Travel Editions will continue to be managed by General Manager Julie Martin and her team, ensuring a smooth transition.
Co-founders Ed Coventry and John Dryden, who have run the business for 30 years, will retire.

The Artisan Travel Group was founded in 2002, and brand The Aurora Zone is the UK’s only dedicated Northern Lights holiday provider.
Artisan Travel is known for itineraries in unique destinations such as the Azores, the island of Gozo and the Nordic countries.
Investment Partner David Wilson and Senior Investment Manager Katie Ford from Panoramic Growth Equity made the deal possible thanks to their continued investment and support.
