Travel job candidates at highest level since summer 2021
The number of new candidates searching for travel jobs has jumped to its highest level since July 2021, according figures from C&M Travel Recruitment.
With a 29% increase from September 2022, last month’s figure was up 34% from last October
It was the highest number recorded since July 2021.
However, the figure was marginally below previous Octobers, with a dip of two per cent from October 2019.
It was also a busy month for new travel job placements which rose by 18% from the previous month.
October 2022 was up by 24% from 2019.
Last month also recorded the second highest number of new travel job vacancies in the past five months.
Barbara Kolosinska, Managing Director at C&M Travel Recruitment, said: “With a shortage of quality candidates affecting all industries at the moment, it’s very encouraging to see a big increase in jobseekers.”
