Travel Leaders Group acquires NC-based business travel management firm TMP
Travel Leaders Group is beefing up its corporate division with the acquisition of North Carolina based Travel Management Partners (TMP).
Based in Raleigh, TMP was established more than 20 years ago and offers business travel management services to clients ranging from small and midsize firms to federal government contracts.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
"With the addition of Travel Management Partners, two strong and growing businesses are joining forces to create greater opportunities for our customers," said Ninan Chacko, Travel Leaders Group CEO.
TMP will be integrated into Travel Leaders’ corporate division but no major changes are expected in TMP operations.
TMP CEO and president John W. Lewis will become as a member of Travel Leaders’ corporate executive team.
"This move will only build on what we have achieved over the past 23 years and create more growth opportunities for our company. Our clients will benefit from an expanded network and access to best-in-class technology," Lewis said.
