Travel presenter will name CMV’s new ship
She might not be the Queen, but she’s the Queen of travel presenting: Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) has announced that Gloria Hunniford will be godmother for its latest ship, Magellan.
Hunniford will name the ship in front of 1000 invited guests from the trade on Thursday (March 12) at the London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury, followed by two special evenings on board on March 13 and 14.
As the company is supporting Red Nose Day, guests at each Cruise & Maritime Voyages evening event will be able donate to Comic Relief and enter a draw.
The prizes are a three-night cruise, a six-night cruise and a cruise up to 14 nights. A draw will take place during dinner on each evening.
CMV head of marketing Mike Hall said: "We are delighted that Gloria can be part of this great day in our history. She is a popular TV presenter and much loved by the British public."
