PriceGrabber.com released what it called the internet’s first air travel shopping site that presents unique pre-purchase intelligence of flight history and reliability from FlightStats directly into flight options.
FlightStats, available from Conducive Technology, is a worldwide leader in real-time, historical and predictive flight information.
PriceGrabber.com’s itinerary options are presented in color-coded icons to represent the on-time flight performance of each flight segment.
Said Jeff Kennedy, CEO of Conducive Technology:
“With fewer direct flights, PriceGrabber.com’s shopping features show me which options put me at risk of missing my connection, or suffering long delays — before I buy. That has enormous value.”
He said the system helps buyers identify the best performing flights with FlightStars’ filers and sorting options.
