Travel Trade Extras Reviews Commission Levels
Travel Trade Extras has taken the strategic decision to revise commission levels to its partners.
Ray Mulford, the brand’s managing director said: “In an increasingly competitive environment where suppliers are escalating their rates it is impossible for us to sustain our current commission levels to agents who are not achieving projected sales”.
“Having maintained levels for as long as possible, we have now renegotiated with key partners and are committed to restoring levels based on increased booking activity. The response has been very receptive and we are extremely confident that we will continue to strengthen our trade business”.
“We will continue to support our partners with account management and promotional resource and budget and in some cases we will step up our investment to drive sales”.
Travel Trade Extras’ new enhanced website is due for launch later this year and the brand is continuing to develop and evolve its accommodation, car rental, insurance, airport parking and lounges product portfolio to maximise agents selling opportunities. This includes a new insurance policy giving agents the flexibility to add their own margins and a car rental delivery and collection service, which is already available to the trade.
The new commission levels are effective from 01/09/05.
Booking incentives are unaffected.
