Travelodge seeks sites for hotels in Cornwall

Travelodge has opened its first hotel in the Cornish town of Camborne Redruth and has unveiled plans to double its Cornwall portfolio.
The budget chain is actively seeking a further eight hotel sites across the county, bringing the total to 15.
It said potential locations include Bude, Falmouth, Isles of Scilly, Looe/Fowey, Newquay, Penzance, St Ives and Truro.
Camborne Redruth Travelodge has 63 rooms with an onsite car park and is located on Trevenson Gateway, Gas Lane, Camborne, less than a third of a mile away from the A30.
Rooms cost from £29 a night.
Gary Steele, Travelodge South West regional director, said: "The Cornwall economy is growing at pace, and as the UK’s top staycation destination, visitor numbers are increasing year on year, however there is still a shortage of good quality accommodation at a great value price."
