Travelodge is on a recruitment drive for 100 staff for two new airport hotels.

The properties at Manchester and London City Airport are due to open in December.

The budget chain is looking to fill 65 positions at the 211-room hotel at Manchester Airport and 35 at the 155-room property at London City.

A range of positions are available from hotel manager through to head receptionist, head chef, cleaners and night duty staff.

The company, with 260 UK hotels, hopes to have the vacancies filled by September for training in time for the early December openings.
