Travelscope launches schools brochure
Travelscope has launched a brochure specially designed for the schools market.
The 2007 brochure called ‘Study the World’ will be sent to over 1,000 travel agents across the UK, providing them with information on educational, entertaining, and value-for-money school trips.
Tours will include UK cities, regions of France, Spain, Belgium, Holland and Italy, and further east in Europe to the ancient city of Krakov in Poland and Moscow and St Petersburg.
Long-haul destinations include New York, Japan and an eight-day tour to China.
Darren Parris, head of retail sales, said: “For many years we have been a market leader in providing group holidays. Recently we have developed a number of packages for schools and these have been a resounding success.
“The new Study the World programme of educational tours has taken this a step further and we have researched a number of destinations all around the world and we believe we have assembled a variety of visits to meet the expanding requirements of the national curriculum as well as providing an enjoyable experience.
“While there is a comprehensive range of tours within the new brochure we are keen to be able to meet the particular demands of a school and, if possible, we will create a bespoke package to meet their particular requirements.
“As with all our new brochures, they will be published in our new agent friendly format, where an agent’s individual brochures are personalised with their address and telephone number.”
