A new XML API Internet Booking Solution is on the market for travel technology
TravelStoreMaker.com, a leading Internet Booking Engine provider, has launched its XML API meta search product called Tuareg. Tuareg allows travel entities to use a single access point to obtain flight content from multiple GDS, charters and Low Cost airlines simultaneously.
Tuareg provides a stable multi-source flights gateway connected to Traditional GDS suppliers and to more than 40 Low Cost Carriers using structured data messages and standardizing data exchange with its application programming interface (API).

This is very powerful as traditional airlines have changed their pricing structure to compete with low cost carriers and have abolished roundtrip fare structure in many markets and two one way fares are what make the new roundtrip pricing. Searching for one way fares on published and low cost carriers and providing the client a combination of the two is time consuming for an agent and not a service they would provide.”
A custom user interface can easily be built on top of Tuareg XML API allowing travel agencies to develop their own Internet Booking Engines.
