Travelwise Group recruits sales chief

Independent travel management company Travelwise Group has appointed Mike Jones as sales manager.
He joins having worked in similar roles with Fleet Street Travel and the TD Travel Group.
Jones said: “The UK business travel market is entering into an important and interesting time at the moment.
“Recent mergers and acquisitions amongst some of the top travel management companies have left a gap for the mid-sized, independent TMCs to exploit.
“Big isn’t always better and whilst the larger TMCs prefer to serve the larger corporations, TMCs such as Travelwise are better placed to serve the thriving UK SME market.”
