The Trinidad Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Association (THRTA) has announced the appointment of a new CEO.
Brian Frontin takes over as THRTA chief and is a former chairman of the Tourism Development Company Ltd.
In that role Frontin also served on the Board of the Caribbean Tourism Organization.
"Frontin has solid experience working in senior roles in corporate banking and government affairs, including twelve years at local and international banks as well as past chairmanships of state boards including the Tourism Development Company (TDC) ," a THRTA statement said.
"In these latter roles, Frontin oversaw the management of key hotel assets and was also instrumental in the formulation and implementation of national tourism incentive programs."
Established in 1999, THRTA is the main private sector representational body serving the interests of hotels, guest houses, restaurants and other tourism industry stakeholders in Trinidad & Tobago.
