Turkey specialist seals Worldchoice deal
Turkey self-catering specialist Artemis Travel has signed a sales contract with Worldchoice.
The deal means the 400-strong agents’ consortium will market Artemis’ three four-star resorts on the Aegean coast of south-west Turkey for the remainder of 2008 and next year.
Artemis Travel markets penthouses, apartments and villas at three resorts in the Didim and Altinkum areas.
The agreement comes five weeks after the appointment of Nigel Harris as business development director to extend the company’s trade coverage.
The company is also promoting the area for winter stays, with two-bedroom apartments priced at £125 a week from October to February.
Four weeks for the price of three is being offered for any break longer than a month.
Worldchoice head of sales and marketing Helen Talbot said: “Turkey is booming and our clients are always looking for good value quality accommodation, which Artemis provides.
“Our members are also keen to develop dynamic packaging and with Artemis’ flexibility in selling accommodation, we can be creative in marketing travel from regional airports around the country.â€
