Turkish Airlines and Riyadh Air ink strategic partnership

Turkish Airlines has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the new Saudi based carrier Riyadh Air.
It will offer a range of benefits and connectivity for customers travelling between Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and beyond their respective Riyadh and Istanbul hubs.
Passengers of both airlines will be able to take advantage of each carrier’s network through an interline and codeshare agreement.
Turkish Airlines Chief Investment & Technology Officer, Levent Konukcu and Riyadh Air CEO, Tony Douglas, signed the agreement in Riyadh.
Riyadh Air is still in a pre-launch phase and expects to start flying in mid-2025.
The cooperation will also allow members reciprocal loyalty programme benefits.
Levent Konukcu said: “We are happy to start our relationship with Riyadh Air, a promising new player in the aviation industry. “
“It’s a bridge between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, further strengthening our ties. It’s also an opportunity to expand our reach and offer our guests more choices.”
