While hotel chains have rolled out strict, no compromise cleaning protocols, it’s a buyer’s market. Hotels simply cannot pass on the extra costs to guests with the industry still in the doldrums.
With hotel operators still bleeding money, there will always be some corners cut despite the grand promises from HQ.
