Two tourists have been killed in a road accident involving a tour bus in the British Virgin Islands.
The bus was carrying 20 passengers from the Celebrity Summit cruise ship on a shore excursion, all of whom were taken to hospital.
Two were pronounced dead at the scene, said police information officer, Dian Drayton.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated and it is thought no other vehicles were involved.
"Police are confirming a lone-vehicle traffic collision involving a tour bus while the bus was descending the Cane Garden Bay Hill," Drayton said.
"Police have also assigned a police liaison officer to work along with the cruise line, the tourist board and families while investigations are ongoing."
The BVI government issue a statement, adding that the names of the deceased have not yet been released pending formal identification.
"The government of the Virgin Islands expresses its deepest condolences and through the BVI tourist board, we are working to help those who have been affected."
