Two ‘likely’ Omicron cases on Sydney Harbour party cruise
The Sydney Harbour party boat cruise had two ‘likely’ cases of the Omicron variant, NSW Health officials said. A total of five Covid cases were confirmed.
"Genome sequencing to confirm if any of the five confirmed cases have the Omicron variant is under way – preliminary results indicate two are likely to have it," NSW Health officials said.
"All cases are isolating at home."
Public health officials are tracing all 140 partygoers who all signed in with a QR code. Health officials urged all people who were on the boat ‘not to be alarmed.’
