Two new luxury hotels scheduled to open for 2017 in Ecuador
QUITO, EC – September 27, 2016 – Latin Trails (www.latintrails.com), In 2017 two very unique hotel properties will open their doors in Ecuador. In spite of the economic downturn the country has attracted important hospitality investments as part of it’s continuous growth in the tourism sector.
In the first semester of 2017, Quito will boast a new boutique property in its historic downtown district, the 10 room ILLA boutique hotel will open its doors to both Ecuadorian and foreign visitors that want to make the most of the colonial old town. The property is a colonial mansion that will be fully restored to its original glory, located in the colorful San Marcos neighborhood, each of its 3 floors is based upon an era: Colonial, Republican and Contemporary and rooms are decorated accordingly.
ILLA will offer guests unique city views with the Panecillo hill and it’s winged virgin statue practically in the hotel’s backyard. The hotel services include a brandy bar, spa, wine cellar and fine dining at its signature restaurant "Chamburo". Another great reason to stay at "ILLA" is San Marcos, the only old town neighborhood to have families living in the area, the main street Junin houses 3 museums, a couple of the cities finest restaurants and several artisan workshops.
Guayaquil, the largest city in the country will be home to "Hotel del Parque", as you may guess the hotel is inside a park, the cities historic park where the Oro Verde hotel group will be restoring an old plantation manor turning it into a luxury boutique hotel. This unique property will boast its own private river docks and world class bird watching offering 120 species within it’s gardens.
If you are planning a visit to Ecuador in 2017 these are 2 amazing places to stay in Quito or Guayaquil.
The local destination management company Latin Trails has planned to offer related services accordingly. This important addition to accommodation options in the 2 major cities of Ecuador will open possibilities for high end travelers to enjoy one of the world’s foremost experiential travel destinations. The tour operator has presented the industry with it’s six senses tour series, Quito Six Senses and Guayaquil Six Senses.
