Uber risks losing licence in California
Regulators in California have fined Uber $7.3m (£4.6m) for not sharing enough information about its services and operations.
In the latest legal battle for the car sharing app, the California Public Utilities Commission – which decides if a company can operate in the state – said Uber had not filed all the reports required.
These include reports on incidents such as accidents and how often it has provided access to disabled passengers in California.
Uber said that it would appeal against the decision and has up to 30 days to do so before its licence to operate in California is suspended.
