United Airlines back at New York JFK
Nearly six years after its last flight, United Airlines is back at New York JFK. United, which has nearby Newark as its main hub, welcomed transcontinental flights into JFK from its two West Coast hubs LA and San Francisco.
United is offering round-trip flights from JFK to the West Coast available five days a week on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
"I think our return to JFK is a renewal of our commitment to New York, says David Kinzelman, United’s VP of global airport operations. The airline hopes to increase capacity to twice-daily frequency from May.
