United Airlines has tweaked it employee travel policy to ensure there is never a repeat of the nightmare scenario of Flight 3411 again.
The carrier said it has imposed a cutoff time of 60 minutes before departure for all bookings of flight crews on its own planes.
United said the new policy would make sure it doesn’t face a similar situation of a paying passenger forcibly removed again.
A week ago David Dao was violently pulled off a plane in Chicago and suffered a broken nose and concussion.
Attorney Thomas Demetrio said Dao is likely sue the airline.
The change is just part of its comprehensive review of its overbooking policy and fallout of the incident.
