United Airlines ramps up schedules to near pre-pandemic capacity
United Airlines plans to fly up to 3,500 domestic flights a day in December, the most since the start of the Covid pandemic. It equates to 91% of 2019 pre-Covid capacity.
It includes new flights between the Midwest and leisure destinations like Las Vegas and Orlando, as well as 70 daily flights to ski destinations.
The carrier is seeing ‘a lot of pent-up demand’ for holiday travel it says.
