United Airlines announced Steven Restivo as new VP of global corporate communications.
Restivo is based in the Chicago office and took up the post a week ago.
He reports to chief communications officer Josh Earnest.
Restivo joined United from Comcast Corporation and previously worked as senior director of corporate communications at Walmart.
He was head of external communications of the public affairs and government relations team at the retail giant.
He brings more than two decades’ strategic communications expertise.
"Steve is a proven leader and brings a wealth of industry communications experience to United," Earnest said.
