Safety officials from the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating an engine fire on a plane that landed in Newark.
It happened as a United Airlines Boeing 737 Max landed at the airport on June 28.
None of the 179 passengers and five crew members were injured.
Pilots said they were alerted by a fire warning indicator for the left engine during taxiing.
They shut down the engine and had to be towed to the gate.
Maintenance crews reported signs of fuel leakage and heat damage from the engine.
The NTSS will conduct a full investigation.
The Boeing 737 Max was grounded worldwide until December 2020 after two major crashes in Asia and Africa.
