Uniworld launches ‘Friends Reunited’ offer for groups
Uniworld has launched a new offer for groups of 10 or more friends and family holidaying together in 2021.
Available on selected departures, including its Danube, Rhine, Seine, Venice Lagoon, Mekong, Ganges and Nile cruises, the Friends Reunited package offers savings of £400 to £800 per person, plus it’s giving away one free place for every 10 guests in Europe, including flights or train travel, and a free place for every 15 guests in the Nile, Mekong, Yangtze and Ganges, cruise only.
The package includes 25% off single room supplements for three guests, plus there’s an additional £100 onboard credit per person.
Combining the Friends Reunited offer with Uniworld’s 10% early booking discount (available until 30 September), an eight-day Venice and Gems of Northern Italy sailing on 20 August next year is reduced from £2,899 per person to £1,899 per person.
The price includes flights, airport transfers, full board accommodation on board the new S.S. La Venezia, activities and there’s an additional £100 on board credit. The 10th person travels for free, increasing the overall saving.
Its 13-day Timeless Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia and the Mekong cruise, which was previously £4,999, costs £4,139 per person combining the Friends Reunited and early booking discounts. The price includes airport transfers, five nights’ luxury hotel accommodation, seven nights full-board on the new Mekong Jewel, activities and an additional £100 on board credit. Additionally, the 15th guest in the group travels for free.
Even bigger groups can charter a Uniworld ship for themselves with a tailormade programme. In Europe, its ships carry up to 130 people.
The Foreign Office is currently not advising against river cruises (only ocean-going cruises) but destinations on the river cruise might be subject to travel restrictions.
