Unruly passenger charged after trying to stab flight attendant
An unruly passenger has been charged after reportedly trying to stab a flight attendant.
An altercation ensued between Francisco Severo Torres, 33 and cabin crew after he was accused of trying to open a cabin door mid-flight.
The door had been tampered with and was in the ‘disarmed’ mode.
He was arrested at Boston Logan International Airport.
Severo Torres was suspected by cabin crew of trying to open the door.
During an exchange with crew members, he reported stabbed a flight attendant with a metal spoon.
The unruly passenger was then overpowered and subdued until the United Airlines flight landed.
