Unvaccinated pilots costing United Airlines nearly USD3 million a month
It is costing United Airlines nearly $3 million a month to keep unvaccinated pilots on the payroll. The airline made the claim in a court filing. United is challenging an injunction which has temporarily stopped the airline from placing unvaxxed pilots on unpaid leave.
Untied argues vaccinated pilots are reluctant to work with unvaccinated colleagues requesting a medical or religious exemption because they ‘refuse to risk their safety.’
