US airlines halt flights to Tel Aviv
US airlines have suspended flights to Tel Aviv amid rising tensions in Israel. It has witnessed the worst outbreak of violence for several years. American Airlines, Delta and United paused flights to Tel Aviv.
There is an average of seven flights from the US daily. Flag carrier El Al says it plans to continue flying but passengers can reschedule their flights for a later date without paying a fee or can cancel in exchange for a voucher.
Air France and Lufthansa also cancelled flights.
