US lawmakers bid to scrap 10-year visa for Chinese nationals

A group of Republican senators want 10-year B-1/B-2 visas scrapped until China ceases ‘economic and industrial espionage’ against the US. The Visa Security Act wants Chinese nationals banned fom applying for the multi-year visa.
It is a political move but could have major ramifications for inbound tourism.
