USAirtours bookings back to pre-pandemic levels
USAirtours says it has matched the same number of bookings in March as it did in the benchmark month of March 2019.
It has already achieved £26 million in sales revenue for their financial year ending September 2022.
“As one of the few trade only tour operators remaining, we are totally reliant on the amazing support that we have received from travel agents”, said founder and CEO Guy Novik.
“This pandemic has been incredibly tough for the whole travel industry. With the USA closed for 20 months, our own survival plan included downsizing from 83 staff, leaving just 32 to somehow keep the company running.”
“While some mistakes were made, we did our best at the time and have been rewarded with the loyal support from so many agents for which we are both proud and grateful.”
The company is now introducing a new sales support department with additional staff to make it easier for agents to get in contact
It is rewarding both agents with increased booking incentives as well as agency owners with co-op marketing support, which is part of USAirtours ‘Supporting Agents Supporting Us’ program.
The company remains committed to supporting and working exclusively with travel agents and will be launching a number of promotions this year to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
